Background

CNC Machining & Precision Components

CNC-turned, CNC-milled and VMC-machined components manufactured to customer drawings and specifications — from prototype quantities through repeat production.

CNC Turning and VMC Machining for Industrial Components

Mehtech Engineering manufactures CNC-turned and VMC-machined components for OEM and industrial applications at our facility in Vasai, Maharashtra. We work directly from customer drawings, samples, or specifications — supplying individual components, sub-components for larger assemblies, and repeat-production parts to OEM and industrial customers.

Requirements can range from prototype and development quantities to recurring production orders.

01

CNC Turning

Machine TypesCNC turning centres, along with conventional turning equipment for low-volume, prototype and specialised work.
Machining CapabilityThreading, grooving, taper turning and profile turning; turning of multi-diameter shafts, bushings, sleeves, gear blanks and valve components; close-tolerance feature machining on customer-supplied bar stock, castings or forgings.
MaterialsStainless steel (SS304, SS316/316L), carbon and alloy steel (EN8, EN9), aluminium, brass.
TolerancesClose-tolerance turning to customer-specified tolerances for repeatable production.
Production VolumesPrototype and development quantities through low, medium and high-volume production.
Typical Component TypesShafts, bushings, sleeves, gear blanks, valve components, proprietary machined nuts, load-chain-wheel components.

02

VMC Machining

Machine Types3-axis & 4-axis VMC (Vertical Machining Centre) equipment.
Machining CapabilitySlotting, pocketing, drilling, tapping and contour milling; machining of flanges, housings, brackets and valve bodies; milling operations combined with turning for complete component manufacture; close-tolerance feature machining on customer-supplied castings, forgings or bar stock.
MaterialsStainless steel (SS304, SS316/316L), carbon and alloy steel (EN8, EN9), aluminium, brass.
TolerancesClose-tolerance milling to customer-specified tolerances.
Production VolumesPrototype and development quantities through low, medium and high-volume production.
Typical Component TypesFlanges, housings, brackets, valve bodies, and machined sub-components for larger assemblies.

Quality

Every component moves through drawing review and manufacturability feedback before machining begins. In-process and final inspection checks are carried out before dispatch, and we coordinate third-party testing where a customer's specification requires it.
